The Local Lift is a New Jersey nonprofit providing community-based programs that support families and students facing temporary financial hardship. Our initiatives include quarterly financial assistance for essential needs, educational workshops focused on financial literacy and life skills, and community programs designed to strengthen local support systems.

Through transparent, responsible assistance and education, we work to create stability, opportunity, and stronger communities across New Jersey.

  • We offer quarterly, one-time financial assistance to a family experiencing temporary hardship. Families are identified through confidential community nominations and selected with care based on current need and available funding.

  • Our workshops focus on practical education such as financial literacy, college preparation, and life skills to empower individuals and families.

  • We support students by offering book scholarships, educational resources, and guidance to help them succeed academically.

  • From diaper drives to community resource events, we bring people together to support one another and meet real needs locally.

  • New Roots Legal Solutions LLC supports individuals and families in our community by providing compassionate immigration case assistance, helping them understand and gather the documentation needed for their journeys. Through advocacy, care, and clear guidance, we work to make the immigration process more accessible and less overwhelming.
